LECTURER [PND-1] [GRADE 1-2] (HEALTH)
Key Performance Areas
Provide education and training for student nurses. Facilitate learning of students. Accompany students in clinical areas.
Prerequisites
National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 / Matric plus Basic R425 qualification (Diploma / Degree in Nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council [SANC] as a Professional Nurse. Post basic qualification in Nursing Education registered with the SANC. Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse in Nursing Education. Experience for Grade 1: A minimum of four [4] years appropriate / recognizable nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing. Experience for Grade 2: A minimum of 14 years appropriate / recognizable nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing and at least 10 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate / recognizable experience in Nursing Education after obtaining the 1-year post-basic qualification in Nursing Education. Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Virtual meeting platforms literacy. A valid driver's license except for people with disabilities
