TRACTOR DRIVER: EXPANDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME (EPWP) LDARD EPWP 4/10/2026 (AGRIC)
Key Performance Areas
Operate the tractor with various implements such as plough, disc harrow, ridger, planter, boom sprayer. Assist with the physical execution of various and general activities such as land cultivation, planting, tillage, harvesting and application of pesticides and fertilizers. Perform tractor maintenance. Ensure safe storage, cleaning and routine tractor and implement maintenance. Maintain tractor logbook daily and report accordingly. Report any defects on the Tractor. Assist in dispensing and receiving fuel and oil.
Prerequisites
Grade 10 or equivalent appropriate qualification as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. Valid driver’s license ECI (code 10) (with the exception of people with disabilities). Practical tractor driving skills will be tested to shortlisted candidates.
