Key Performance Areas
Oversee the maintenance and implementation of appropriate policies and frameworks for school governance stakeholders. Oversee the management of school affairs. Oversee the management and co-ordination of norms and standards for school funding. Oversee the management of school safety and beautification. Oversee the management of provision of Early Childhood Development (ECD). Co-ordinate the provision of Whole School and Systemic Evaluation. Co-ordinate the management of evaluation and reporting on performance of schools. Co-ordinate the management of the setting and maintenance of standards for teaching. learning and school functionality. Oversee the annual internal evaluation of schools. Co-ordinate the development of school improvement plans. Ensure continuous improvement in the provision of quality public education.
Prerequisites
An NQF level 7 qualification as recognized by SAQA. A relevant postgraduate qualification in education/management will be an added advantage. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience at senior managerial level. SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate upon appointment Valid driver’s license with exception of person with disability.
