Assistant Director: LAN Technician (EDU)
Key Performance Areas
Create/update AD user profiles and provide IT support to offices and schools Support ICT security, Infrastructure, equipment, software, servers and cloud services. Participate in ICT projects and work with vendors. including SITA and the Microsoft LSP. Assess donated assets and connect devices and officials to the network. Assist the Deputy Director: ICT Infrastructure and support departmental. SITA and OTP transversal systems.
Prerequisites
NQF level 6 or 7 qualification in IT. Information Systems/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or related field as recognised by SAQA. A qualification/s in CISP, Microsoft Azure Expert/Specialty and ITIL certification will be an advantage. Five (5) years’ experience of which three (3) years must be at Lower Management post /Supervisory level 7/8 within the ICT Infrastructure field. Valid driver’s license with exception of person with disability.
