Assistant Director: IT Programmer (EDU)
Key Performance Areas
Develop ICT systems. gather requirements and maintain IT application systems. Manage systems development projects. work with vendors while securing source code and access keys. Maintain systems and licence registers. Assist the Deputy Director: Applications and Systems and identify software needs for procurement and development.
Prerequisites
NQF level 6 or 7 qualification in Software Development. IT/Information Systems/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering as recognised by SAQA. Qualification/s in Microsoft Azure Developer Expert/Specialty certification will be an added advantage. Five (5) years’ experience of which three (3) years must be at Lower Management post /Supervisory level 7/8 within ICT Applications and Systems Development field. Valid driver’s license with exception of people with disabilities.
