STATE ACCOUNTANT: ASSET AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT (TCS)

Key Performance Areas
- Registration of Departmental Assets
- Maintenance of asset register
- Updating of Inventory lists
- Conduct disposal of obsolete and redundant assets
Prerequisites
- A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate qualification (NQF 6) in Finance or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the
South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the same or related field.
- Valid Driver’s License (Except for people with disabilities).
Person Profile
Knowledge and understanding of legislative framework governing Public Service, PFMA, Advanced Financial Management, Reporting procedures, Computer Literacy. Written Communication negotiation skills, Analytical thinking skills, transformation policies and procedures, Production process knowledge and skills.
