PRINCIPAL PROVINCIAL INSPECTOR (TCS)
Key Performance Areas
- Manage and enforce Road Traffic, Public Passenger, Transport Legislation and other relevant legislations
- Manage joint law enforcement activities and projects (co-operative governance)
- Manage resources and provide leadership and direction to all subordinates
- Manage the performance of all administrative activities and related duties
Prerequisites
- A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent, Basic Traffic Diploma plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6)
in Traffic Management or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA).
- 6 – 10 years working experience in Traffic Law Enforcement field.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- A minimum of 3 years as Senior Provincial Inspector.
- The applicants must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm as contemplated in the Firearm Control Act, 2000 (Act
no 60 of 2000), or other relevant legislation.
- No Criminal record.
